Drug and Alcohol Testing Services
At the North Conway Chiropractic Center we offer drug and alcohol testing for both Department of Transportation (DOT) and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing programs.
Drug and alcohol testing programs offer significant benefits to both employers and their employees. Drug and alcohol use at work increases the cost of operation for the employer and the risk of injury to employees. Employees who use drug and alcohol at work also increase the workload on their co-workers by their under-performance and increases the risk of injury to co-workers by their inattentiveness. This can, in turn, lead to dissatisfaction with the workplace by the user's coworkers.
The risk of employee injury when using drugs or alcohol is very real. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) states that between 10 and 20 percent of employees who die on the job test positive for drug or alcohol use. OSHA also reports that small businesses are more likely to suffer the consequences of employee drug or alcohol abuse.
