Nutrition

Nutritional supplementation has been at the core of chiropractic therapies for decades. Chiropractiors were among the first healthcare providers to recognize the importance of nutrition in health and recovery.

Good nutrition begins with the foods we eat. The more wholesome and nutritious our diet is, the less supplementation needs to be done. Ideally no supplementation should be necessary if your diet is complete. However, in today's world, food is grown on hugh corporate farms, treated with herbicides and pesticides, grown in nutrient depleted soil, picked before they are fully ripe, transported thousands of miles, and sit in stores and warehouses before they arrive on your table. All those factors deplete the nutrient density of the foods. Buying local food, and particully foods grown by local organic farmers, will eliminate most of these issues. However, due to modern farming issues you may still need supplement your diet.

Nutritional supplementation is particularly important when recovering from illness or injury. Your body needs the necessary nutritional elements for tissue to heal fully and completely. We utilize only the best natural whole food supplements and synthetic supplements when necessary.
